Dr. Chris Macri, owner and dentist at Macri Dental, has built his career on a foundation of excellence, integrity, and heart. A graduate of Indiana University in 2000, he purchased the practice in 2015 and relocated it to its current home in Greenwood Village in 2018. His passion for dentistry is matched only by his love of teaching. From 2004 to 2011, he served as volunteer faculty at the Colorado School of Dental Medicine, shaping the next generation of dentists. In 2012, he and his wife Ann welcomed their daughter Avi into their family, and Dr. Macri often says that being a dentist, husband, and dad is the best combination of roles he could ever ask for. Though seeking out opportunities to teach is always a side quest.
Dr. Macri leads the practice with the mission statement “Talent, Trust and Laughter” as its guiding principle. It’s his goal for both staff and patients. Trust is something he deeply respects and protects, carefully treatment planning only what patients truly need and ensuring they fully understand their options. Through advanced technology such as digital impressions, 3D imaging, and AI, patients can clearly see what he sees and feel confident in understanding the care being recommended. His commitment to ethical, high-quality dentistry extends beyond his office walls. He is one of only a handful of dentists serving on the Colorado State Board of Dental Examiners, a governor-appointed position dedicated to licensing, regulation, and protecting public safety. He generously gives his time to this role because of his unwavering dedication to the profession.
The “talent” reflects decades of experience and refined skill, including teaching dental implant placement to other dentists for the past five years. The course has resulted in multiple free implants for patients across Colorado and the proceeds have helped fund volunteer dental missions to Thailand and Mexico, where he and his team provide care to those in need.
And as for “laughter,” Dr. Macri has been affectionately described by patients as the “Bob Ross of dentistry,” a nod to the artist and his calm, reassuring presence. While Bob Ross may not have been known for comedy, laughter fills the halls of Macri Dental every day. Creating a fun, relaxed, positive atmosphere is something Dr. Macri actually takes very seriously. Because when patients feel comfortable, trust grows, and exceptional care follows.
